Fewer Than 2 Years Experience: ADS offers online interactive training provided to aspired transcriptionists who desire training and experience required to work as a contractor from home. ADS training provides aspired transcriptionists, who have fewer than 2 years experience, with hands on training, work experience, and a letter of recommendation upon satisfactory completion of ADS training and required transcription requirements.
Experienced Transcriptionists: ADS provides mentoring to assist you in taking your transcription business to a higher level. We'll help you with marketing techniuqes, client relations, pricing, and more!
There are several ways we offer these lessons:
1 Year Program: This is highly recommended for aspired transcriptionists and working transcriptionists who have fewer than 2 years experience. This course is packed with 12 months of lessons and mentoring that will give you an explosive start in your transcription career.
Express Program: The Express Program is for those of who want the same information but at a faster pace. This program provides three 45 minute post training mentoring sessions that will be scheduled upon successful completion of training.
Individual Lessons: This is for those of you who have transcribed before but don't think you need some of the basic transcription stuff that's discussed in the beginning lessons. You can choose your individual lessons by topic. These lessons are available for individual purchase and can be downloaded immediately.

- Corporate Transcriptionists
Must have a minimum of 2 years transcription experience. Applicant must type 70 wpm or better and must have familiarity with using MS Word and/or WordPerfect. Must have excellent grammar and punctuation skills with ability to proofread. Position requires candidate take a transcription accuracy, typing speed and proofreading test. Those who have completed the ADS Transcription Course are exempt from testing and experience requirements.
- Medical Transcriptionists
Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a hospital or clinical environment . Applicant must have familiarity with using wav/digital transcription pedals, MS Word and/or WordPerfect. Must have excellent grammar and punctuation skills with ability to proofread. Position requires candidate take a transcription accuracy, typing speed and proofreading test.
- Legal Transcriptionists
Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a law office or firm environment and type 90 wpm or better. Applicant must be familiar with transcribing a variety of dictation, notes, depositions and reports and must have familiarity with using MS Word and/or WordPerfect.. Must have excellent grammar and punctuation skills with ability to proofread. Position requires candidate take a transcription accuracy, typing speed and proofreading test.
